Information Collection and Use

Data Collection

MyJournE collects survey data surrounding young people’s mental health, wellbeing and day-to-day experiences. This survey will last approximately 15 minutes, and will involve questions about your mental health, and how you have been feeling recently.

You will also be asked to monitor your mood and daily life events via the MyJournE app following completion of the survey. This will involve a number of one-word mood ratings and a daily life event diary. You will be able to tailor the notifications on the app and complete the ratings and diary entries at a time that suits you. Completing the mood monitoring will take no more than a few minutes per entry.

The app will collect data on your usage of the app as well as information about your mobile device such as operating system, version, device type, and system performance information.
